The Rams struggled to hold down the Seneca Bobcats in an 11-2 loss on Wednesday night. The Rams fall to 3-3 on the year.
Seneca scored in the first inning to take a 1-0 lead. Westside answered to take a 2-1 lead in the top of the 2nd, but allowed the Bobcats to answer for 3 runs in the bottom half of the inning. From there, the Bobcats capitalized with some timely hitting on top of some Westside walks and defensive miscues to continue to extend the lead.
Braeden Jordan takes the loss on the mound and falls to 0-2. Westside (3-3) will look to bounce back and find their first region win of the year as they play host to the Easley Green Wave on Friday at 6:00.
